Abbey’s Tri-App slurry applicator is light and robust

Abbey Machinery’s 7.5m Tri-App slurry applicator incorporates dribble bar, trailing boot and trailing shoe applicators into one machine. It can be attached to a tanker via a fixed mounting or with the use of a hydraulic mast or mounted on the back of a tractor to run with an umbilical system.

The mounting system has been improved to reduce the overhang and minimise the weight of the applicator on the back of a tanker, says the company. The Tri-App has also been engineered to give lightweight construction with robust design.

Fitted with 40mm heavy-duty durable hose, the system is designed with no internal hose restrictions at hose joints and ensures that there are no restrictions to the flow from the Vogelsang Exacut macerator to the ground.

The double pivot, three-section boom allows the outlets to follow the ground contours individually and when travelling forward protects the frame from any uneven ground.

Features include 5m boot, individual floating sections, forward-folding boom, individual folding rams and the capacity to carry a rear-mounted 600m reel.

Optional equipment includes an umbilical arm, trailing shoe points and electric hydraulic controls.
