Can’t decide if tracks or tyres are the best option for your tractor? Well this concept tractor from Claas combines the best of both worlds.

The Etrion 400, designed by automotive engineering student Merlyn Gray has four driven wheels at each corner and independent Terra Trac units between. These can lowered hydraulically to reduce compaction and lifted on the headlands to prevent scuffing. The tracks are also raised for road work to increase transport speeds and give a smoother ride.

It has four-wheel steer and can spin on a sixpence when the track units are fully lowered.
