Another show and another fancy new colour scheme from Challenger.
This one’s modelled on a stealth bomber and comes with matt black paintwork, heavily tinted windows and military-style graphics. Strip off the costume, though, and you’ll find a standard 431hp MT775E lurking underneath.
The sinister-looking colour scheme does hide a new-shape bonnet, which is being rolled out across the rest of the range.
At the moment the Stealth is just a show piece, but the maker has had so much interest it’s considering offering it as a limited edition.
Agritechnica was also the first public outing for Challenger’s monster V12-powered MT875E. This is the most powerful Challenger to date, developing a max power of 637hp from its massive 16.8-litre block. It’s thought to be the only V12 engine in a standard agricultural tractor available in Europe.
