Amazone adds models to its fertiliser spreader range

Amazone has added more models to its range of ZA-TS series fertiliser spreaders.

On 1,700 and 2,000 litre spreaders, the company now offers narrow extensions with a filling width of 2.22m. Wider extensions with a 2.71m filling width are available for spreaders with all-up volumes of 2,200, 2,700, 3,200 and 4,200 litres.

The ZA-TS Super has a payload of 3,200kg, spreading widths of up to 36m and hopper extensions from 1,700 to 3,200 litres. The heavier-duty ZA-TS Ultra, meanwhile, which has a payload of 4,500kg and spreading widths of 54m, can be equipped with a choice of four hopper extensions ranging from 2,200 to 4,200 litres.

All models are equipped with the TS spreading system with its disc-integrated Auto-TS boundary spreading system that spreads fertiliser right up to the field’s border. This gives good accuracy, says the company, and higher yields around the edges of the field compared with existing boundary spreading systems.

All ZA-TS spreaders have Isobus control technology and can be operated both with the Amatron 3, CCI 100 and Amapad terminals or any other Isobus terminal. They can also be fitted with a weighing system.

All models are available in either Tronic or Hydro versions. Tronic involves mechanical drive to the spreading discs with an eight-section part-width section control via spread rate adaptation. The hydraulically-driven spreading discs on the Hydro version, meanwhile, give the user an eight-section part-width section control system that controls both the quantity and speed reduction of the spreading discs.

Both versions can be equipped with the company’s GPS-Switch automated part-width section control. Roll-up covers on the spreaders are available in manual form or with the company’s hydraulic remote-opening system.
