Blaney Motor has unveiled a new compact wheeled loader that builds on the design of existing machines.

The L1 10-27 has been the company’s primary pivot steer model with a 1.5t lifting capacity and 2.7m reach. At only 3.1m long, 1.12m wide and 2.2m high it’s well suited to working in small, awkward sheds.

A 40hp engine supplies power to the hydrostatic transmission, giving constant four-wheel drive through a limited slip differential.

The new concept TL1 10-33 uses the same chassis and engine, but now extends its reach to 3.3m with the help of a telescopic loading arm.

The company claims the loaders are four times lighter than typical machines of this type and, because of this, can be transported on a car trailer.

Also fresh in the product book is a new C650T hedge-trimmer that offers telescopic reach to 6.5m and increased oil capacity.

Blaney says special attention has been paid to the design of the frame and extra strength has been added to take higher road speeds into account.

The telescopic boom is fitted with a 16-piece guideway system to reduce hose damage and there’s a choice of controls that can be cleverly stored within the machine when it is not in use.

Prices start at £16,145.
