JOHN DEERE has launched a new Gator all-terrain vehicle. The HPX series is available with two or four-wheel drive and has all-wheel suspension as standard.

Power is supplied by a 20hp Yanmar diesel engine, which is capable of pushing the Gator to a top speed of 40kph through the two-speed continuously variable transmission.

HPX models have a payload capacity of 409kg on the rear cargo deck and a towing capacity 590kg. The Gator can be supplied with an optional roll-frame or a cab if required.

Available with a range of attachments including seeders, sprayers and snowblades, the HPX Gator is equally capable of rough terrain work or general farming applications, says Deere.
