Farmers could get in the cab of the New Holland 7070 Auto Command at Grassland, start the engine, change direction and try the in-house CVT, all without moving a metre.

With 224hp (boosted to 251hp) under the bonnet, it’s pitched right at the medium-to-large tractor market. Cab controls are a technological tour de force, with full CVT, drive-by-foot throttle, three different ways of changing direction and an all-singing-and-dancing monitor. There’s even a button to simulate traditional tractor-driving techniques like changing through the gears and using the hand throttle.
