Heating calf milk

FEEDING CALVES at the same temperature for every feed can avoid the risk of upsetting digestion, according to Dairy Spares, who says their new electric milk warmer can help do just that.

The milk warmer will heat 100 litres from 17C to 37C in about one hour, says Dairy Spares.

It can be suspended down into churns or into plastic buckets, using a bracket which is available to prevent the element touching the sides.

Each milk warmer costs ÂŁ160 or ÂŁ190 complete with mounting bracket (01948 667 676; fax 01948 666 505).
