Hi-Spec’s XCEL 1250 rear discharge spreader has a spreading width of up to 18m and can spread a 12t load in 3-5 minutes.

Manure is shredded by 24 flails made from Hardox steel attached to a rotor shaft using marine-strength chain with 40t breaking capacity.

The chain and slat floor has four chains and is driven by a hydraulic motor with a flow control valve (with cab control) to adjust floor speed.

Four vanes mounted on two rotors do the spreading, each protected by shear bolts. That means the machine is able to deal with foreign objects like stones, cement blocks and fencing stakes without serious damage, says the company.
