JCB’s attempt to break the diesel land speed record is on track.

The DieselMax car – powered by a pair of JCB’s own twin-turbocharged four-pot diesel engines – completed its final round of testing this week at RAF Wittering, Lincolnshire, and reached a top speed of 201mph on the 1.6-mile runway.
