Joskin launches budget Betimax livestock trailer

Belgian firm Joskin has bought out a simpler version of its Betimax livestock trailer that should appeal to those on a budget.

The Betimax R has a painted body rather than a galvanised one and a drop-down ramp instead of hydraulically lowering axles. It’s still built out of hefty steel plate though and the main frame has been galvanised to help keep the rot at bay.

The 6m version, including a set of dividing gates costs £9,000 and the 5m one is £7,000.

A new version of the firm’s Alpina slurry tanker was also on the stand. The Alpina 2 has had its centre of gravity lowered to make it safer on steep banks and capacity has been upped to 8,300-litres on the biggest model.
