In the heat of harvest every minute counts, but valuable time is lost because the operator has to climb up to the platform to open and close the latches that secure the silage extensions.

Now German trailer maker Krampe has come up with a redesigned locking and unlocking system for the silage extensions. The new latches are operated from the ground with a sturdy lever – a much easier and more convenient method for the operator. Another detail is that the open extensions can be secured in hooks on the sides of the tipper. 

The manual locking/unlocking system is now an option on all Krampe Big Body and SK models.
