In a bid to bridge the gap between the existing 3m X-Press and ST bar and the deep-working Solo range, Simba has launched an entry-level reduced tillage cultivator for 200-300hp tractors.

Called the DTX300, the 3m machine has two rows of tines working up to a depth of 400mm followed by two rows of adjustable 20in discs mounted on springs. The DTX300 can be fitted either with the DDLite press or optional Aqueel roller and starts at £19,750. A specially designed OSR seeding kit costs £6750. Simba has also introduced a kit for their mounted X-Press to convert it to trailed format. Prices for this start at £4850.
