Lamma: Tractor Guard takes over import of Farr ATVs

West Midlands firm Tractor Guard, which made its name supplying polycarbonate protective covers for tractors doors and windows, has spread its wings somewhat by taking on the Farr ATV and farm buggy range.

These machines have proved to be good sellers in the UK and Tractor Guard says it will be keeping the 50-strong dealer network. The model range now consists of one ATV and one farm buggy and both were on show at Lamma . Both are delivered in road-legal form with a £50 payment to have them registered for road use. A diff has been added to both models, too.

The Farr 500cc ATV costs £5,100, has two- and four-wheel drive, a 471cc single-cylinder engine, and power output of 27hp. Transmission is a CVT with low/high and diff lock.

The farm buggy costs £6,800 and has a bigger 686cc 33hp fuel-injected engine. Transmission is CVT and brakes are dual hydraulic discs at the front and a single disc at the back. The machine comes with roof, windscreen, half side doors and tipping load area.
