Mitas mobile app to help farmers set best tyre pressures

Czech tyre maker Mitas has introduced a new mobile tyre pressure app suitable for Android, Apple and Windows phones.

The new app allows farmers to find the right pressure for their tyres to achieve the best results in the field and on the road.

Users simply need to select the tyres size on their tractor, set the speed and cargo weight, and the app will calculate the most suitable tyre pressure before displaying it on the screen.

“Tyres with the right pressure not only cause less damage to the soil through compaction but also provide better traction, lower slippage and positively influence fuel consumption.”

The user-friendly interface of the Mitas tyre pressure app allows farmers to quickly choose their tyres from a list of available Mitas tyre sizes and tread patterns.

Text search by parameters is also an option and the resulting tyre pressure is presented in bar or pounds per square inch.
