More power from Krone’s Big M mower

Krone’s Big M 400 self-propelled mower boasts 40hp more than its predecessor, the Big M 200.

Powered by the same 400hp Mercedes block as the Big X forager, it can cut up to 9.7m, and is fitted with a heavy-duty mower bed.

It has a CVT transmission, meaning it operates at lower revs in transport mode.

There’s a new cooling system, too, which sucks air in from the top rather than the back screen, and a reverser fan which blows trash away every 10 minutes.

Capable of mowing more than 200 acres a day, the Big M 400 costs in the region of £250,000.
