The Agricultural Machinery and Equipment Show (AMES) takes place from 9am to 4pm on Wednesday 3 February at the Bath and West Showground, Shepton Mallet, Somerset.

The first of what’s intended to be an annual indoor machinery event for south-west farmers, it will have some 40 trade stands, plus demos from JCB, Claas and Merlo telehandlers, a Pottinger Jumbo Combi forage wagon (pictured) and Valtra’s latest tractor model. There is also a seminar on lo-till from Professor Richard Godwin.

Entry is free and more details are available by ringing 01749 822 211.
