Precise Solutions offers lower-cost Autostar

Precise Solutions, the Cumbria-based autosteer, sensing and auto sprayboom height specialist has introduced a new autosteer system from US maker AgLeader. While Precise Solutions already offers AgLeader’s hi-spec Paradyme autosteer system, the new Geosteer unit is designed to offer a lower-cost alternative.

It is said to give repeatable, sub-inch accuracy, making it ideal for drilling, spraying and other field operations that require precise automated steering.

The single antenna design makes it easy to transfer the system from one vehicle to another, says the company. Also, there’s ehat’s called a Flex Mode to allow the GeoSteer system to continue operating for a period of time if the system temporarily loses the differential GPS signal.

The GeoSteer system integrates with the Ag Leader Integra and Versa displays, remote diagnostics and auto-calibration is said to be easily accessible from the in-cab display.

It can also be used with other differential signals, including Egnos and Omnistar XP/HP systems. GeoSteer can be used on almost any brand of equipment capable of being operated with an automated steering system.
