Sam Moore might have passed production of his arable drills over to Sumo, but the Irish maker is still churning out plenty of grassland machines.
The firm’s latest Unidrill uses an Accord hopper and metering system mounted on a set of its own trademark disc coulters. These are staggered over two coulter bars and there are 32 of them on the standard 3m machine.
Hydraulic depth adjustment has been added for the first time and it is available as a retrofit kit for older machines, too.
The 3m machine costs £24,000 and there’s a cheaper 2.5m machine coming out in the spring.
