Stubble cultivators for smaller tractor

SIMBA‘S 3m and 4m X-Press stubble cultivators are now available in a mounted format to suit smaller tractors, between 80hp and 130hp.

Working at depths of between 75 and 100mm (3 and 4in), two banks of scalloped discs are followed by a heavy ring press.

The discs are now leaf-spring, which allows them to trip and reset automatically, improving the implement‘s performance in stony conditions.

The set-up is said to be capable of producing a seed-bed after two passes and can be adapted to perform a secondary cultivation role after the plough.

A 3m mounted model costs £9800, while a 4m folding version will set you back £15,510.
