Tractor sales appear to be following the usual seasonal trends – registrations during October totalled 906 units, 7% lower than the same period last year.

Regionally, it’s traditional livestock areas that seem to be suffering the worst, with the arable east supporting machinery sales, up nearly 17% on 2003. Overall, results for 2004 are looking good – 4.9% ahead of the Oct 2003 figure.
