£1m for Semex UK

SEMEN importer, Semex UK will receive about £1m over the next five years from Canadian investors.

This will come from a new alliance of four AI companies that already jointly own Semex Canada. They are now taking a significant share of Semex UK, though original owners, Greylag Holdings, will retain the majority share-holding.

Robert Chicoine, general manager of CIAQ, one of the four Canadian AI companies, says the investment will help lift Semex UKs efficiency and increase the number of depots. But there are no plans to progeny test in the UK, despite it being Semex Canadas largest export customer. &#42
