£4.5m tag for chunk of Hebrides

A LARGE chunk of the Outer Hebrides is on the market with Knight Frank and CKD Finlayson Hughes after the decision of Jonathan Bulmer, a member of the cider-making empire, to sell up.

Lauded as one of "Scotlands great sporting estates", Amhuinnsuidhe encompasses 50,000 acres of North Harris, and comes with a price tag of over £4.5m.

As well as good bags of salmon, sea trout and deer, extra income is derived from the renting of Amhuinnsuidhe Castle.

CKD agent Jonathan Kennedy does not think the Scottish Land Reform Bill should have too much of an impact on the disposal. "I think the market for this sort of property is fairly robust." &#42
