A colourful test for antibiotic-free milk

ENSURE milk is antibiotic free before it leaves the farm with the Delvotest procedure, says Avon-based UK distributor Millwood Products.

The Delvotest is based on the industry standard test for antibiotics. It is reliable for checking residues from individual cows or in the bulk tank, claims Millwood.

It says the procedure is simple and quick to perform and the results easy to interpret. When the milk sample turns yellow it is acceptable, if it remains purple antibiotics are present. The incubator costs £86 and each test kit costs £32 for 25 samples. (01225-460234.)
