A day not to be missed
The Welsh Grassland Event, held at Gelli Aur College Farm, on Wed, May 17, could prove to be a profitable day for all those involved in grass conservation. Over 100 exhibitors are poised to display their latest developments and many of the machines will be demonstrated in the shows working area.
All in all, the Welsh Grassland Event has all the makings of a successful event
Welsh Grassland promises to be the most comprehensive grassland event to be held in Wales for many years. Held at Gelli Aur College Farm, it provides an opportunity for all those interested in successful silage production to observe and learn.
Whether in the market for a new machine or just wanting to improve silage making techniques, this event should have something to offer most visitors.
This years event is certainly the biggest staged in Wales for several years, with nearly all the major equipment manufacturers taking part. The forage and baling areas run to over 70 acres.
A significant static exhibition area is also present, covering a wide range of products and services related to the livestock industry – from feed, fertiliser and silage additive specialists through to farm waste equipment suppliers.
The event highlights equipment suitable for the smallest livestock farmers to the largest contractors – from foragers to balers through to clamp loaders and wrappers. More recent developments, such as chopping balers and square bale wrapping, will all be demonstrated.
