Aberdeen Grain into biomass power

ABERDEEN GRAIN, the Whiterashes-based farmers co-operative , is to pioneer the growing of short-rotation coppice in a bid to diversify away from arable crops.

The coppice will be used in a “biomass” power plant project.

The envisaged power plant would generate heat and electricity.
