Advertising cash available

FUNDS for a national milk advertising campaign could be available if farms minister Nick Brown claws back agri-monetary compensation to allow for the effect of a strong £ on the dairy sector.

That would compensate milk producers who got little out of the recent aid package, said Andersons Francis Moudaunt.

Compensation of £10-20m is not out of the question and it could be spent on an industry-wide initiative, such as a generic milk campaign. Distributing it back to farmers could prove too costly, he added. &#42
