Agco/Gallignani deal adds to baler choice

AN agreement by Agco with Italian manufacturer Gallignani has resulted in new ranges of Massey Ferguson and Fendt round balers being available for the 2003 season.

The fixed and variable chamber balers, which will complement Agcos range of large and small square balers produced at its Hesston plant, have been designed to handle hay, silage and straw.

Manufacture of the round balers will take place at Gallignanis new plant in Russi, Italy and distribution is to be via MF and Fendt dealer networks in France, Spain, Germany and the UK.

The agreement is said to further allow Agco to strengthen its product line in Europe by providing equipment designed for European crops and farming conditions. &#42
