Agriculture on the agenda at EU-Mexico talks
AGRICULTURE is expected to be a major bone of contention in the European Unions negotiations with Mexico over a free trade deal which have just begun.
Mexican farmers worry that European subsidies will put domestic producers at a disadvantage. European farmers are also concerned about cheap imports from Mexico.
Bargaining over farm products does not start until next year.
