AI unit leads Scots bid for market share

UNITED Auctions hopes its newly-established artificial insemination (AI) arm Scotshire will put Scottish beef back on the world market.

Scotshire will be operating out of premises at Newlands, Scone, formerly occupied by the AI giant Genus, which closed the centre two years ago.

Scotshire recently obtained its own European Union AI license and currently operates a strategic alliance with Avoncroft Breeders.
