All about law on firearms

DID you know the cost of holding both firearm and shotgun certificates can be reduced by having them both renewable at the same time? Or that it is quite legal for anyone over the age of 17, who does not have a firearms certificate, to borrow a rifle from an occupier of private premises who does and use it on that land as long as the certificate holder is with him?

Denis Frosts user-friendly guide* to the law relating to sporting firearms is a mine of useful information. It is also a highly recommended read for anyone about to apply for a shotgun or firearm certificate. TG
