All the facts at your fingertips

THE Cereals Event gives you the information you need to come to decisions about the arable aspects of your business simply because it draws together the people with the advice and information you need.

Last year the Cereals Event and the Arable Farming Event joined forces for the first time. Again this year Velcourt will manage a 3ha (7.4-acre) feature showing new and emerging technologies in the cereal and oilseed industries.

By working with leading organisations and companies we have put together a whole range of new features this year, including an appraisal of the precise costs involved in producing a tonne of wheat and a focus on pulses for premium markets.

Youll be able to compare quality, price, performance and delivery on everything from varieties and agrochemicals to finance and computers. With over 80 crop demonstration plots youll see the latest growing techniques and NIAB varieties. And on 8ha (20 acres) of adjacent land there will be the most comprehensive annual exhibition of working arable equipment to take you from stubble to stubble.

The Cereals Event is used by growers to compare products and see them in action and is valued by arable farmers as the specialist business event. Last years event was a record breaker with over 260 exhibitors and nearly 13,000 visitors.

On behalf of the organisers and our sponsor, Lloyds Bank, I would like to welcome you to Cereals 98, where you will be sure to find the products and business advice you need – all at one event.
