Back to the floor…contract shearer Dave Jones and Kiwi Leigh Pierce get among 400 ewes as Richard and Helen Savage and daughter, Marie, wrap fleeces and keep boards swept at Wood Hall Farm, near Shrewsbury, Shropshire. "Its good to be back to normality after foot-and-mouth disrupted shearing last year. The wool market is a bit stronger too. Well keep ewes in overnight as the mornings can still be a bit chilly," remarked Mr Savage.
