Aromatherapy in the cowshed
THE new-age medicine of aromatherapy has reached the cowshed, discovers the The Independent.
It reports on Avesta Herbal Products of Skipton, North Yorkshire, which is supplying dairymen with oils derived from lavender, eucalyptus, geranium and damask rose.
Avesta has perfected an “udder oil” which the newspaper says has been proved effective in treating mastitis.
