Australian wool exports plummet
AUSTRALIAN wool exports fell almost 30% in the year to January, according to Woolmark.
Exports fell 29% to A$ 2.8 billion (£1bn) by value, while the decline was 20.4% to 534.9m kg by volume.
China remained the largest market for Australian wool, taking 117m kg, down 22.4% from the previous year.
