Automatic opener copes with wide gates

DOUBLE gates with a span of up to 10m (32ft) can be opened automatically, says Came Marketing, using its latest automatic gate opening system.

Activated by remote control or push button on the gate post, the system has been developed to take the strain out of manually swinging open wide farm gates.

The system uses an electric motor and set of gears located by the gate post, to open and close the gate. Each unit is said to be capable of handling a gate up to five metres in length.

Power for the system can be 240V mains or for remote areas, 12V battery powered. Prices start at £500. (01635-529111).
