Best-ever year for Scots machinery ring

THE 10-year old Perthshire Machinery Ring has reported its best year of operations.

The group, with some 270 members, has returned a surplus of £5431, on turnover up 17% to £890,000.

It has recently agreed to source electricity at a 19% discount from Independent Energy.
