AFTER the "best ever" show last year, the Royal Association of British Dairy Farmers reports unprecedented interest in the 1995 European Dairy Farming Event, which should ensure it is the largest UK dairy event to date.

Venue is the National Agricultural Centre, Stoneleigh, Warwicks, on Wed and Thur, Sept 20 and 21 next week.

The exhibition area has been expanded to cope with increased interest reflected in an extra 13% trade stands and nearly 425 exhibitors.

"This year demand has been overwhelming," says RABDF chief executive Philip Gilbert. "Space in the covered area could have been sold three times over and we have had a waiting list of trade exhibitors."

He hopes that with trade stands in specialised areas this year visitors will find it easier to see the event and save on time.

Cattle entries are also fully booked, with numbers forward up on last year at 260.

The event, open from 8.30am to 5.30pm, costs £10 a person, including car parking and the show guide, and is free to RABDF members. Reduced rates are available to RASE members, students and young farmers. Refreshments will be available on site throughout the day. &#42
