Blackface ram prices on the up
BLACKFACE ram prices are on the up, judging by returns from the United Auctions sale at Kildean Market, Stirling, at the weekend.
The 932 shearlings averaged £296.18, up £33.56 on the year, but 177 less were sold.
The 370 ram lambs averaged £189.96, down £9.52 with 50 fewer changing hands.
Top price for a shearling was £6800
