AN ability to allow safer and easier breathing in dusty environments, is Interhatchs claim for its latest respirator mask – the Powercap.

Weighing 300g, the mask has a turbo fan fitted on the peak of a baseball-style cap, together with dust filters.

Such an arrangement, says the company, protects the user from dust and most air borne particles and is particularly suitable for asthma suffers.

The Powercap is also designed to provide a continuous flow of filtered and purified air.
