BUSINESS BENEFITS

Changing markets and new opportunities mean it is now vital for growers to understand their farm business and its capabilities.

That is why Cereals 95 has chosen "efficiency through effective management" as its theme. Visitors to the event at Shuttleworth, near Biggleswade, Beds, on June 14 and 15 will find all the agronomy, management and machinery information needed to produce a quality product, profitably.

The National Cereals and Combinable Crops Event has developed a reputation as an annual meeting-place for arable farmers. Growers can compare products, up-date on developments and seek business advice.

This year visitors will see everything from varieties and agrochemicals to finance and machinery, from nearly 200 specialist companies on a 32ha (80-acre) site.

Youll see at least 80 crop demonstration plots, showing the latest growing techniques and a display of varieties by NIAB. Youll also see cultivation equipment working on nearly 6ha (15 acres) of land.

On behalf of the organisers, exhibitors and our main sponsor, Lloyds Bank, welcome to Cereals 95.
