Businessmen to help Scots farmers
THE Scottish executive is putting in businessmen to help out on the farm, Ross Finnie, the rural affairs minister, announced yesterday.
Consultants have been appointed to sort out the farmers co-operative Scottish Milk while a “senior businessman” is to investigate the Scottish sheep industry.
Mr Finnie said there would also be a review of red tape.
