CAP payments to be published

THE RURAL Payments Agency is set to publish details of all CAP payments made to farmers in England over the past 2 years.

The RPA will release the information to third parties who have requested it under the Freedom of Information Act on Tues (Mar 22).

It is understood the information will come on a CD which will list farm businesses in alphabetical order, but will not include addresses.

Next to each farm business will be the total amount of farm support received in 2002/3 and 2003/4.
