CAPreforms on the table
EUROPEAN farm ministers are set to discuss the EU Commissions CAP reform plans at next weeks informal farm council in Luxembourg.
They will debate a paper, produced by Luxembourgs farm minister and current council president, which questions whether the proposed reforms will maintain farmers incomes.
In addition, the paper stresses the urgency of including social and environmental clauses in future world agricultural trade agreements. *
