PLANNED cut backs by Case IH in its worldwide staffing levels (Machinery 18 Sept) have hit its UK plants. The company has announced that the workforce of 1200 at its two Doncaster sites – which assemble tractors and manufacture gears and shafts – is to be reduced by up to 225. *
