Case loader debut soon

BACKHOE and skid steer loaders from Case will make their official debuts at the SED construction show on May 14.

The 91hp 580 Super LE is the first in a new series of backhoes Case plans to phase into the UK, and takes over from its previous mass-market model, the 580 SK. Main changes are more power, better manoeuvrability and a redesigned cab interior.

At the other end of the scale, Case is also launching a new entry-level skid steer, the 1825B. Replacing the old 1825, the B-classed machine has a more powerful 27hp engine and new transmission pump and motor. These changes add up to a top speed of 5.4mph, a tipping load of 0.8t and a dump height of 1.93m (6ft 4in). The loader measures 999mm (40in) wide and 1.78m (71in) high.

Prices of the backhoe and skid steer are £36,350 and £12,750 respectively.

This Case 580 Super LEbackhoe has more power than its forebear.
