Case woos market

CASE aims to tempt livestock and small arable farms into its fold with "Limited Edition" versions of its CX100 and CX90 tractors – the four-wheel drive Landsman Special and Landsman Eco.

The Landsman Special is intended for top work and light draft applications.

Running on low profile 360/70R24 front and 480/70R34 rear tyres, it is powered by a 100hp block coupled to a 16 forward/8 reverse, 40kph, powershift transmission.

At the back end, the tractor sports a single shaft 540/1000rpm independent pto and an electronically controlled hydraulic linkage with a 3.9t lift capacity.

Operator comfort and ease of operation comes from hydrostatic steering and a deluxe cab with an air-suspension seat and air conditioning; an A-post mounted exhaust stack gives unobstructed forward visibility.

The tractors specification also includes front fenders and weights, rear screen wash wipe and trailer brakes.

For those farmers looking for further economy comes the 90hp Landsman Eco, which features the Specials transmission and a dual shaft version of its 540/1000rpm pto.

Operators are provided with a low profile version of the Specials cab, but without the A-post mounted exhaust. Running gear comes in the form of narrower 12.4R24 front/16.9R34 rear tyres. Hitch capacity is 2t.

Case aims to tempt livestock and smaller acreage farmers with its "Limited Edition" CX100 and CX90 models, the Landsman Special and Landsman Eco. List prices are £38,688 and £30,940 respectively.
