He was out of the TLA Northern Samurai cow Netherton Frances 02 and also took the intermediate title.

Leading the junior bulls and finishing up with the reserve supreme ticket was Aberdeenshire breeders Neil Massie and Sons Earnest X85 of Blelack, a son of Reich Zulu and out of a home-bred cow by Southholm Winchester.

A large crowd watched the Aberdeen Angus bull judging which was moved from its traditional Sunday spot to Monday morning as part of the revamped sale schedule that saw the breeds bulls go under the hammer on Tuesday (full report next week).

The reserve intermediate championship was claimed by Wedderlie Privateer, a son of HF Dreamstreet 21F from Mrs J R L Campbell, Gordon, Berwickshire. Runner-up for the junior award was Exodus of Jerusalem the only bull brought to the sale by B S and L M Ronan. Hes by Southolm Winchester and bred in their herd at Appleby, Cumbria. &#42
