HEREFORDSHIRES traditional standard cider apple orchards could get a new lease of life from a scheme to convert them to organic. Bulmers is inviting an initial selection of 100 standard orchard growers to join a new Organic Registration Scheme. Up to 400ha (1000 acres) of fruit on the larger standard orchards is already grown without pesticides. *
