CJD cluster ‘cause found’

DISEASE experts claim to uncovered the cause of a cluster of deaths from the human form of BSE, reports the Ananova website.
However, findings will not be revealed ahead of a meeting with villagers from the heart of the cluster at Queniborough, Leicestershire, on 21 March.
The leader of the team investigating the deaths from vCJD of five people with close connections to the village said the source is “extremely obvious”.
Dr Philip Monk, consultant in communicable diseases at Leicestershire Health Authority told Ananova the solution had been “staring us in the face”.
